Iowa Colony made a major statement at the Class 5A Region III Meet.
The Pioneers’ 4x200 relay team blazed to a 1:22.49 finish—good for the No. 2 time in U.S. history. They also hold the No. 2 time nationally in the 4x100 relay.
Leading the charge were Jayden Warren, who captured the 100-meter title, and Derrick Hahn. Ian Hill added to the medal count by winning the 400 meters.
Iowa Colony is heading into the UIL State Meet this weekend on the campus of the University of Texas and are the Class 5A favorites.
