North Shore is back on top of the rankings
North Shore takes top spot of VYPE Rankings powered Lone Star College
The Class 6A DI Defending State Champ North Shore Mustangs are back to No. 1 in the VYPE Rankings, knocking off John Curtis (La.) in Lake Charles, La. over the weekend.
Cypress Ranch moved to No. 2 after beating No. 1 CE King 31-28 last week. Ridge Point continued to roll with a big win over Shadow Creek, while the Katy Tigers are looking dangerous with a win over Dickinson.
Cy-Fair had a huge overtime win over College Park, who was a Top 5 team. Other teams who are trending include Tomball, Willis, Memorial, Pearland, Langham Creek and Manvel among others.
In Class 5A, Randle snuck by Class 6A Westfield, Angleton rocked Dayton and Montgomery beat Class 6A Grand Oaks. Baytown Sterling moves into the Top 10.

THE RANKINGS: Shadow Creek gets pay back on Summer Creek; CE King remains No. 1
With Week 1 in the books, the VYPE Class 6A Rankings have moved a bit.
The biggest win in Class 6A was the Shadow Creek victory over Summer Creek, avenging a big defeat from a year ago. Bridegland beat The Woodlands in a close one, while Grand Oaks knocked off Klein Oak to creep in the rankings. The Katy Tigers flexed on Atascocita, while Ridge Point snuck by Dickinson.
