Luke Marvin of George Ranch advances to the State meet undefeated.
In what has amounted to the program's most monumental season, the Clear Springs Chargers have advanced all the way to the UIL 6A-Division 1 State Final, where they'll soon play Midway this Saturday (4:00 PM) in Austin.
VYPE's Matthew Ogle caught up with Clear Springs HC Jennifer Knight, to highlight the team's historic path to State, the stars who made it happen, and more.

THEY'RE BACK!
As it was hopefully anticipated prior to the first pitch being thrown this Spring season, the Kingwood Mustangs returned to the UIL State Tournament and took that a step further with their dominant series sweep against Dripping Springs last week.
Now, Kingwood turns its attention towards Forney this Saturday (1:00 PM), with the potential to claim the program's first-ever title.
VYPE's Matthew Ogle spoke with Kingwood HC and H-Town softball legend, Christa Williams-Yates, detailing the team's journey back to Austin, and what they have come to "PROVE".

It shouldn't come as a surprise that the Lake Creek Softball program has found itself back at the state's most prestigious stage, considering the fact that they went back-to-back between 2022 and 2023.
Despite that, this is a different team than the one in years past.
The likes of Ava Brown (Florida), Maddie McKee (LSU), Kalee Rochinski (UTSA), Carmen Uribe (Central Arkansas), Alyson Higginbotham (Tarleton State), and others have since advanced their careers to the collegiate level -- leaving the dynasty in the hands of second-year head coach Candyce Carter.
Suffice it to say, the Lions are still as formidable as ever.
Boasting the only undefeated record (36-0) in all of Texas high school softball, Lake Creek has its eye on State Championship No. 3, with the only obstacle left being Hallsville.
The two will be facing off this Friday (4:00 PM) at Red & Charline McCombs Field in Austin, TX, with heavy implications in the balance.
VYPE's Matthew Ogle caught up with Lake Creek HC Candyce Carter, discussing the team's tremendous run and more.
