How about the Clear Lake Falcons? Despite finishing fourth in district play, coach CiCi Anderson's squad pieced together an impressive 2025 showing, finishing 29-16 overall and making a memorable run to the third round of the postseason.

Now the question becomes: What will they do for an encore? The Falcons have a major void to fill at setter following the graduation of Peyton Aldridge, who dished out more than 1,000 assists a season ago. Replacing that production will be one of the biggest storylines entering 2026. Fortunately for Clear Lake, plenty of scoring punch returns.

Doug Brown (VYPE)

Coach Ally Brown is building something special at Cypress Woods. The Wildcats continued their ascent in 2025, finishing with an impressive 36-8 overall record and a 12-2 mark in district play.

Their postseason run came to an end in the third round against North Forney, but the foundation is firmly in place for another successful campaign. A revamped District 16-6A slate awaits, along with several key difference-makers returning from last year’s squad.

2027 College Park defensive back Jordan White's journey to get to where he is today started on the little league fields of SCFL to now one of the leaders of the Cavaliers defense.

The Cavaliers corner will be taking his talent to Columbia following his upcoming senior but he and his teammates have unfinished business in 2026 as they look to claim another district title and deep playoff run.
