Brooks Haack has a big-league pedigree. The new Memorial High head football coach and campus AD had a 27-3 record as the starting QB for the legendary Katy Tigers and coach Gary Joseph. He played his college ball at the University of Louisiana and Northwestern State.
His sister Matte was a star softball player at Katy and ULL as well.
Dad, Kalum won 850 games as a high school softball coach... mostly at Katy High (26 years), where he won a pair of State Titles. Mom, Leslie, is the Deputy Superintendent for Katy ISD.
Needless to say, Brooks Haack - at 31 years of age - is built to be a head coach.
Did we mention, Haack was the assistant head coach and offensive coordinator at Randle High School, where he helped lead the Lions to a 14-0 season and a Class 5A DII State Title?
