Number 1: Tommy Brockermeyer, All Saints Episcopal - Offensive Tackle
The son of former NFL and University of Texas All-American tackle Blake Brockermeyer, Tommy Brockermeyer's athletic genes run ankle deep. At 6'6", 285, Brockermeyer is your prototypical future offensive tackle, and with another year of high school still on the docket, he has the potential to leave Fort Worth ready to contribute from day one, at whatever school he chooses. Being the son of a former Longhorn football player, many have already called Tommy a lock to ink with Texas, though schools like Clemson, Alabama, Auburn and LSU are still lurking around looking to poach Brockermeyer from the in-state Longhorns. The 5-star offensive tackle is still likely to end up in Austin, but Dabo Swinney is likely to give Tom Herman a hard run for the nation's premier offensive linemen.
On Tuesday night at Vandegrift High School, the Warriors of Westwood High School took down the Vipers 42-39 in one of the most thrilling playoff games in Texas high school basketball history. The back and forth scoring, massive student sections, and game-ending controversy all made for great photos, so strap on your high-tops and dive in.
