Number 1: Tommy Brockermeyer, All Saints Episcopal - Offensive Tackle
The son of former NFL and University of Texas All-American tackle Blake Brockermeyer, Tommy Brockermeyer's athletic genes run ankle deep. At 6'6", 285, Brockermeyer is your prototypical future offensive tackle, and with another year of high school still on the docket, he has the potential to leave Fort Worth ready to contribute from day one, at whatever school he chooses. Being the son of a former Longhorn football player, many have already called Tommy a lock to ink with Texas, though schools like Clemson, Alabama, Auburn and LSU are still lurking around looking to poach Brockermeyer from the in-state Longhorns. The 5-star offensive tackle is still likely to end up in Austin, but Dabo Swinney is likely to give Tom Herman a hard run for the nation's premier offensive linemen.

Number 2: Donovan Jackson, Bellaire Episcopal - Offensive Tackle
Maybe the most college ready prospect in the state, Donovan Jackson is the perfect blend of pure athleticism, skill, and knowledge of the game, making him one of the most sought out tackle prospects in the nation. Jackson is probably very much underrated by numerous recruiting sites, but nobody can argue that he's a future NFL tackle. Jackson is so talented that Ryan Day came to Bellaire to hunt him down and sealed a commitment from the 5-star offensive linemen. It had been thought for a while that Donovan would end up in either Columbus, College Station, or Austin, but with his mom graduating from Ohio State, the Buckeyes eventually won out. Bellaire Episcopal is poised to make another run at a district title, and Jackson himself is poised to become a Freshman All-American at The Ohio State University.

Number 3: Bryce Foster, Katy Taylor - Offensive Guard
Though ranked in the Top 100 by most services, Katy Taylor's Bryce Foster is still one of the most criminally underrated recruits in the country. Between his pure, brute strength and understanding of schemes, Foster has the make-up to absolutely sky-rocket following a solid offseason and senior campaign. An All-State lineman and National Champion shot putter, Foster has proved himself has one of the strongest, if not the strongest, high school football players in the United States. At age 16, Foster threw a 64'00.5" in the AAU shot put championship to break the record for AAU 15-16 boys. Due to his freakish strength and size, Foster, standing at about 6'4", 315 pounds, has about every school in American chasing down his commitment. However, in-state schools Texas A&M and Texas have generated the most hype when it comes to Foster's recruitment. As of now, it looks as though Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies will win out over Tom Herman's Horns, but there is still 10 months before signing day so anything is bound to happen.

Number 4: Savion Byrd, Duncanville - Offensive Linemen
Raw but talented, the Duncanville star is one of the highest rated players in America. Though he spends a large portion of his time on the defensive side, Byrd has the potential to make millions of dollars at any spot on the offensive line. Many see him as a tackle, on either side of the ball, but a lot also see him as a center, or even a guard. At 6'5" and only 265, Byrd has a ton of room to grow and that frame only makes it easier to achieve. Playing at Duncanville High School, Savion has had college coaches breaking down the doors since he was a freshman, and when they saw the giant, they knew they couldn't pass up on him. Byrd already holds offers from 20 schools, and the list should keep growing as he puts on weight and gets more film. It has looked like Texas has held the edge for quite a while with such strong ties to Duncanville, but LSU and Coach O are right there with the Longhorns for the 5-star jumbo-athlete.

Number 5: Reuben Fatheree II, Richmond Foster - Offensive Tackle
Standing at 6'8", 300-plus pounds, Foster's Reuben Fatheree II is one of the most physically imposing offensive linemen to come out of Texas in a long time. He moves well for his size, and despite standing at 6'8", he gets surprisingly low to the ground and uses his leverage to toss defenders around like rag dolls. And along with being a 5-star athlete on the football field, Fatheree is also looking to possibly play basketball at whatever school he chooses. How often do you see an offensive linemen go to a Power 5 school to play two sports? Sure. Kyler Murray did it. But a 6'8", 300 pound tackle? Reuben's recruitment has been pretty low key, with a handful of schools such as Texas A&M, Baylor, LSU, and Texas all hanging around with the Aggies being considered the long time favorite. He plans to take an official College Station later this spring, and plans on taking a few more before making a final decision to make sure he is making the right choice.
