My name is Ella Hestand, and I'm a junior at Shadow Creek High School. I love to read, write, play volleyball, and watch football. As a coach's daughter, I grew up constantly surrounded by sports, whether that be in a gym or on the sidelines of a Friday night football game. I also play on the varsity volleyball team at Shadow Creek. My passion is for sports, and I believe VYPE U can help me better my skills as a sports reporter and journalist to prepare for my future. This exposure to sports media will tremendously benefit me and teach me the things I need to know before pursuing this career in college. I'm super excited for a great year of reporting and writing.
