QT Erwin leads Klein swim to silver team finish at UIL State. He is headed to TCU
Keller sweeps UIL swim meet; Klein boys, TWHS girls shine
The UIL Swimming and Diving State Meet took place in Austin over the weekend, showcasing some of the top talent in Texas.
Girls' Results
In Class 6A, Keller High made a splash, securing the state title with 243.5 points. Southlake Carroll finished second, followed by The Woodlands in third.
In Class 5A, Boerne Champion claimed gold, with Frisco Reedy finishing second and Prosper Walnut Grove taking third.
Boys' Results
The Keller boys dominated Class 6A, racking up 265 points to secure the championship. Klein finished second, with Austin Vandegrift in third. Kingwood and Atascocita rounded out the top five in fourth and fifth, respectively.
In Class 5A, Prosper Walnut Grove took home gold, followed by Georgetown in second and Frisco Wakeland in third.
Record-Breaking Performance
Keller’s Max Williamson continued to add to his already impressive high school resume, bringing home more gold in 2025. He previously set three national records in 2024.

THE WRAP: TWHS, Keller dominate at UIL State Swim Meet
The most elite swimmers in the state traveled to Austin this past weekend to compete in UIL State Swim Meet, which took place in the Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center at the University of Texas.
On girls' side, The Woodlands took their second-straight Class 6A state title in stifling fashion. Bolstered by their key finishes in the relays , the Lady Highlanders would ultimately claim gold with a composite score of 269.5 points, followed closely by Southlake Carroll (263.5), Keller (253), Westlake (112), Kingwood (111), and Cy-Fair.
Frisco Reedy claimed the Class 5A title with a clutch performance that resulted in 194 total points, with Fulshear (191), Boerne Champion (164), and Friendswood (144) trailing shortly after.
Keller was utterly dominant on the boys' side, as they cruised to a Class 6A championship with an astounding 312.5-point score, with Southlake Carroll once again following close-by (208), along with The Woodlands (191), Kingwood (112), Vandegrift (106), Prosper (99), and Seven Lakes (98).
In Class 5A, Georgetown took the crown with a total score of 197 points, while Friendswood (183), Lubbock (145), Frisco Heritage (126), and Fort Bend Kempner (122.5) in tow.
