With state champions crowned, it's that time again where fans get the chance to vote on who they believe deserves to be named the VYPE HOU Public School Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year! Sun & Ski Sports presented the 2022 VYPE HOU Public School Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year Fan Poll. Be sure to vote for your favorite athlete out of the ones listed below!

VYPE U Behind the Lens: GBHS Laila Owens State Champion
Laila Owens is the 2018-2019 200-meter Dash State Champion as well as a member of the 4x200-meter relay that placed 3rd in state!
Due to cancellation of UIL State Track meet Laila was not able to come back to defend her title. She will continue her legacy at Texas A&M University. Check her and our interview out down below!
