With the Fall season well underway, the first series of our campus-coordinated media days has officially started.
Recently, our team traveled to Manvel HS for their 2025 Fall Media Day.
We caught up with Manvel Head Football Coach Kirk Martin, talking about the upcoming season and more. Check out the interview below!
At Eastside Catholic, coach Taylor Forney is the heartbeat of the volleyball program.
Known for her infectious energy and ability to rally her team, Forney is the point person — everything flows through her leadership.
She has worked to cultivate strong team chemistry, helping a young group grow into a cohesive unit that believes in each other and plays with purpose.
This season, the Crusaders will rely less on firepower at the net and more on their defensive identity, a shift that plays directly into Forney’s strengths.
With Forney driving the energy, Eastside Catholic has the foundation to compete at a high level and continue building momentum for the future. She’s the spark every successful program needs.
Pasadena’s Caryme Molina
Pasadena’s Caryme Molina has been a force on the court since she first suited up for the Eagles, and now as a senior, she takes center stage as our LOVB Spotlight Athlete.
A four-year varsity standout, Molina has put together one of the most impressive careers in Pasadena ISD volleyball history, surpassing 1,500 kills, 2,000 assists, and 1,500 digs.
That rare all-around production speaks volumes about her versatility, consistency, and relentless drive to win.
The daughter of longtime coach Carmen Martinez, Molina grew up around the game, developing an advanced volleyball IQ that sets her apart. Whether she’s running the offense, putting away points at the net, or anchoring the defense, she finds ways to elevate everyone around her.
Her leadership has been invaluable for a Pasadena program that is currently playing above the .500 mark and trending upward in district play.
Molina’s talents have not gone unnoticed at the next level. She recently committed to continue her career at UTEP, where she’ll bring her competitive fire and polished skill set to Conference USA.
For Pasadena, she remains the heartbeat of the Eagles — a player worth the price of admission and a true game-changer every time she steps on the court.
