Predicting DFW Playoffs UIL/TAPPS
It's the final week of TAPPS and there are three more weeks of UIL picks to be made. Last week was a 25-9 performance that keeps me away from that 75 percent season threshold.
I'm currently 357-123 on the year (.744) with 18 total games this week. Below are the 14 remaining picks after picking Aledo to edge past Ennis in a touch 5A Regional Final showdown; Denton Ryan torching Colleyville Heritage; Denton Guyer avoiding the upset from Amarillo Tascosa; and Rockwall getting to state with a tough win over Prosper.
To get to 75% on the year with two weeks remaining after, I have to go at least 17-1, and we all know that is not happening.
Duncanville (13-0) vs. Southlake Carroll (13-0)
Surprisingly, Duncanville is the underdog in this matchup. In the same round last year, Duncanville defeated Southlake by 44 points, which leads me to believe they will be somewhere in the middle. Southlake has had a great year and would not be shocked if they did win, but until Duncanville loses, I will ride with them until then.
