Cayden Williams has had the opportunity to learn from some of the best talent Texas high school football has produced.

At Willis, he's watched stars like DJ Lagway and Jermaine Bishop blaze the trail before him, taking valuable lessons from the Wildcats who came before.

Football also runs in the family. His older brother, Tice Williams, starred at Conroe High School and is now continuing his career at Texas State. Now it's Cayden's turn.

The hard-hitting linebacker announced his commitment to the University of North Texas earlier this summer and is entering his senior season with high expectations. Known for his relentless motor, physical style of play and nose for the football, Williams is determined to help lead Willis to another successful campaign before making the jump to the collegiate level.

VYPE's Matt Malatesta caught up with the Wildkats' heat-seeking missile to discuss his commitment to North Texas, the influence of his family and former teammates, and what he expects from both his senior season and the future that lies ahead.
