Fort Bend Christian is looking to get back to the TAPPS state tourney.
At 5-2 in district play, the Eagles are behind Westbury Christian and nemesis Lutheran South, who knocked them out of a state title a year ago.
Westbury Christian is rangy and athletic, while the Pioneers have already beaten the Eagles this season.
The Eagles lost several stars to graduation last year, so new guys are going to need to grow into leaders.
