We're inside of 50 days before the start of the 2019 high school football season. Last year led to some pretty exhilarating moments and wonderful, underdog storylines.
And just like the professional and college ranks, success - and failure - breeds the constant revolving door for Texas high school head coaches.
So we're going to look at who's new at which school per classification.
Tracking 4A
Just like its 6A and 5A brethren, the 4A DFW area teams is swarming with plenty of state title contenders, which include Decatur, Argyle, Celina and many others.
During the offseason, seven schools replaced head coaches with 2018 records ranging from 0-10 to 8-4.
Caddo Mills
2018 Record: 6-4
Old Coach: Steve Sumrow
New Coach: Kodi Crane
Former Gonzales head coach Kodi Crane replaces Steve Sumrow after 15 years leading the Foxes and a 94-70 record. Crane comes into Caddo Mills after seven years at Gonzales with a 37-43 record.
Dallas Lincoln
2018 Record: 1-8
Old Coach: Jahmal Adams
New Coach: Randall Johnson
Former Dallas Wilmer-Hutchins offensive coordinator Randall Johnson takes over a Dallas Lincoln program following Jahmal Adams' resignation after three years and a 15-18 record.

2018 Record: 5-5
Old Coach: David Ritchey
New Coach: Juan Silva
Juan Silva, most recently a co-defensive coordinator at Haltom, takes over at Castleberry after David Ritchey leaves after three seasons and a 7-23 record (2-18 his first two seasons).

Godley
2018 Record: 4-7
Old Coach: Duke Dalton
New Coach: Curtis Lowery
Curtis Lowery comes in from Levelland after two seasons and a 14-8 record, replacing Duke Dalton after he was placed on administrative leave in mid-September. Dalton led Godley for four-plus seasons and a 27-20 record.
Krum
2018 Record: 0-10
Old Coach: Allen Oh
New Coach: Robby Clark
After four years at Palestine and a 13-28 record, Robby Clark takes over the Krum program and replaces Allen Oh, who left after two seasons to take a position at Coppell.
Melissa
2018 Record: 8-4
Old Coach: Seth Stinton
New Coach: Matt Nally
Formerly the offensive coordinator with Melissa, Matt Nally takes over for Seth Stinton, who moves on to become the Melissa ISD athletic director. Stinton leaves after eight years and an 81-40 record.
North Dallas
2018 Record: 2-7
Old Coach: Fred Johnson
New Coach: Bobby Estes
After leaving Wilson in the offseason to take an administrative role in DISD, Bobby Estes, who was 138-102 in 22 years, reversed course and heads to the North Dallas sidelines. He replaces Fred Johnson after three seasons and a 4-25 record.
