THE HIERARCHY: VYPE SATX Volleyball Updated Rankings; O'Connor, Pieper, Brennan gaining momentum
Well, it's official.
O'Connor is LEGIT!
Just two weeks removed from defeating fellow state-powers Harlan and Brennan, the Panthers have surged to a 6-0 start in their brutal district and are poised at the top of the San Antonio landscape.
That's not meant to dismiss the Hawks or Bears, though. They're going to be just fine as they prepare for imminent playoff runs.
Other notable teams in 6A include Reagan, Clark, Canyon, and Madison, who should only continue to improve as the rest of district plays out.
Meanwhile, Pieper has dominated in Class 5A. However, New Braunfels, Boerne-Champion, and Tivy could give them a run for their money.

VYPE SATX Coaches Corner: Boerne-Champion Volleyball Coach Kelly McDaniel
The real fight begins on the TXHS Volleyball scene, with district matchups coming in full force.
Now that a trip to the playoffs is on the line, this is when audiences can examine the threat that each team poses, in terms of postseason vitality.
One of the team's who has experienced an impressive surge in the Alamo City has been none other than the Boerne-Champion Chargers, who are looking to remedy last year's result, in which they missed out on the playoffs by a miniscule margin.
They're certainly on the right path, considering they have an undefeated start in district-play.
We spoke with Champion Head Coach Kelly McDaniel, detailing the Chargers' brilliant start to the Fall, her go-to play-makers, their expectation within District 26-5A, and more.
