Game Preview: Fort Worth Castleberry looks for redemption while hosting Bridgeport

The Dallas-Fort Worth area has a lot of big moments of football coming up this week. For some teams in the area, they still haven't secured their first victory of the season. Things will change on Friday for either Fort Worth Castleberry or Bridgeport as the two go head-to-head in a week three non-district showdown. VYPE DFW dives into these two teams and what fans can expect:

Bridgeport Bulls (0-2)

Coming off of a tough season last year, Bridgeport is having a rough start to the 2023-24 football season. The Bulls recorded a 48-7 loss to Burkburnett in their season opener at home before posting a 23-9 loss against Bowie on the road. Looking for any opportunity to make a big play, the Bulls are doing everything it takes to prepare to head into week three with confidence and stamina to take on Fort Worth Castleberry.

Led by Cayden Rangel, Abel Valdez, Kai McClellan, Triston McCarty, Teagan Herring, Cole Pritchard, and others, the team can learn from tough moments and regroup with the hopes of securing a victory during non-district play.

Fort Worth Castleberry Lions (0-2)

Castleberry is also 0-2 this season after dropping back-to-back games against Mineral Wells (47-14) at home and Peaster (38-7) on the road. The team is looking for redemption this week as they prepare to host Bridgeport. After a series of challenging moments, the team is prepared to fuel their drive for their potential.
