Buckeye, Leesville places players on LSCA 4A All-State team; Pineville's Chapman honored in 5A

Throughout the softball season, Buckeye, Leesville and Pineville were among some of the best in Central Louisiana and they all had their share of standout players.

The Louisiana Softball Coaches Association recently released its All-State teams for Classes 3A, 4A and 5A with each team having representation on their respective classifications.

Junior catcher Maddie Dauzart represented the Lady Panthers as a utility player after helping them in their Cinderella run to the Class 4A title game — its first trip to Sulphur in five years.
