BREAKING: George Ranch boys relay teams disqualified from state meet

George Ranch will not be sending its men's 4X100 and 4X200-meter relay teams to Austin later this week.

According to MileSplit.com the two relay teams for the Longhorns have been disqualified due to using an ineligible athlete. North Shore's relay teams will now take their spot in Austin.

George Ranch's 4X1oo-meter relay had posted a qualifying time of 40.73 second and the 4X200-meter relay had ran a time of 1:24.95 to advance to the state meet.

North Shore had finished third in the 4X200-meter relay and fourth in the 4X100-meter relay and get bumped up in both instances. For the 4X100-meter relay, North Shore grabbed the wild card spot for having the fastest third place regional time out of all 6A relay teams.
