Avery Jackson prepped for next Hockaday season; committed to Stanford Beach Volleyball

Hockaday has been hot on the map in Texas high school volleyball over the past few seasons. Working hard on and off the court, the dedication of the athletes is clear. One athlete in particular is Avery Jackson who has made quite a name for herself.

A stand-out on the court, Jackson also plays beach volleyball where she has more than excelled throughout their time with Hockaday. Playing on teams and earning awards like the 2023 Best in Beach as well as USA Volleyball’s junior athlete of the year, she is one of the top recruited private school athletes. Recently, Jackson made her commitment to play beach volleyball at Stanford University.

Hockaday assistant coach Allison Camp always has incredible things to say about Jackson’s leadership and presence on the court. “[Avery] is phenomenal. Her spirit always drives our team to work hard and compete strongly against the best in the area. Having [Avery] on the team is really special. She’s an athlete that joins a program only once in a lifetime. Her impact on the rest of the athletes is resounding.”

As Hockaday volleyball gears up for another season, be sure you catch Jackson in action on the court.
