BUILDING WITH YOUTH: Klein Forest Boasts Younger Roster In 2022

THE GOLDEN EAGLES STRUGGLED IN DISTRICT PLAY A YEAR AGO, BUT COACH JAY DARNEAL IS READY TO ROLL OUT AYOUNG LINEUP IN 2022.

One of the key seniors to lead this group of juniors and sophomores is Christian Guevara who will hold it down in the outfield and at first base. Junior Isaiah Vazquez (3B/P), Allen Miranda (CF) and Ivan Villarreal (1B) will be looked to for a big year, while sophomores Francisco Chapa (2B/SS) and Michael Martinez (SS/P) will gain much-needed experience. This could be a growing year for this group, but watch out for Klein Forest in years to come.
