At this point in the summer, every high school sports fan continues to watch to see where their favorite athletes might end up in college. Every college sports fan researches a little bit about the athlete that just committed or signed to play at their favorite school. Most recently, Kennedale safety Kameron Sallis announced his commitment to play college football on social media.

The soon-to-be senior took to Twitter on Tuesday morning to allude to the idea that he had big news coming out in the afternoon. Eyes were glued to his tweets hoping and guessing where he might end up. Once noon hit, Sallis made his announcement:

Sallis chose Kansas State over various offers including those from Arizona State, New Mexico State, and more. The six-foot-one athlete recently made an unofficial visit to Kansas State where he mentioned that he might be making a decision to commit soon.
