PLAY BALL: Bubke, Hammock lead No. 8 Magnolia
No. 8 Magnolia Bulldogs
Coming off a run to the Regional Quarterfinals in 2023 and returning seven starters from that squad, Angela Cooper has quite a bit to be excited about when it comes to her Magnolia Bulldogs.
After going 22-11 a year ago, Magnolia will lean on the likes of Washington-commit Jade Bubke, Houston Christian-commit Leah Hammack and Kilgore College-commit Madison Saldana to lead the charge into 2024. Another player to watch is Stevie South.
Keys to success for Magnolia this year include, “consistency, being resilient and hungry”, according to Cooper.
