Ridge Point has a new coach, and finished second in 2019. Travis swept through the regular season undefeated to climb above Ridge Point for the first time since the Panthers moved up to 6A. Now, the George Ranch Longhorns join the district whose playoff entries face Katy ISD foes in the first round of the playoffs. The UIL might have created a three-headed monster for the other contenders in District 20-6A.
VYPE's James Kowalewski probes Ridge Point's new HC, Rick LaFavers, Trey Sissom of Travis and George Ranch's Nick Cavallo about what they'll bring to the party that is the long-awaited high school football season. And it's certainly time to celebrate the game, even though the party started late because of COVID-19.
