The Lady Jackrabbits have been tough contenders each year as they play with a sense of urgency with the goal to be the best that they can be. This season, Forney posted an undefeated 14-0 district record (26-2-1 overall). Defeating the likes of Frisco Independence, Wylie East, Allen, Crandall, West Mesquite, Mesquite Poteet and more, the Lady Jackrabbits have outscored their opponents by a combined 192 runs. The team has been able to play with nearly unmatched defensive skill throughout the entirety of the season.
So far in playoffs, Forney has defeated Midlothian (13-2, 20-1) and Longview (4-2, 6-0). The Lady Jackrabbits defense has only allowed five runs against them in playoffs while scoring 43 runs of their own. As the team enters the regional quarterfinals, they are on a 21 game win-streak with no signs of slowing down.
Hallsville is going to do everything they can to play up to Forney's level. The team has been able to be consistent throughout the season as they finished second in their district while posting a 78% winning percentage. Although the team will put up a fight, fans can expect Forney's regular level of play resulting in good fortune for the Lady Jackrabbits.
