Bay Area Christian Lady Broncos soccer pulled through with an astonishing 2-1 win against the Northland Christian Lions. Through the cold and unpredictable rain, teams were held at a tie for the entirety of the game. After going into overtime, Bay Area decided enough was enough. With less than a minute left on the clock, Maddie Haynes scored a winning goal breaking their tie.
Monday night was a suspenseful one for the BACS varsity soccer team as they went head-to-head with the Briarwood Mustangs.
The teams held each other at a tie of 0-0 for most of the first half before the Mustangs finally secured the first 2 goals of the night.
Despite this, the Broncos returned to the field even stronger in the second half and were able to obtain their own 2 goals, leading to an unexpected ten minute overtime.
With the time on the clock quickly running out, each team made several attempts to finish this game in their favor. The crowd erupted into chaos as the Broncos pushed through the Mustangs' last line of defense and sophomore Ryan Rullman scored the tie-breaking point, ending the game at 3-2.
