From aces to clubs, Houston is loaded with diamonds on baseball fields across the city.
Last year, a pair of Atascocita players were drafted in the first round of the Major League Baseball draft -- Bryce Matthews (Nebraska) went 28th overall, and Kendall George went 36th overall.
The Woodlands' Drew Romo went in the first round of 2020, while Cypress Ranch's Colton Cowser (Sam Houston State) was the fifth overall pick in 2021, along with former teammate Ty Madden (Texas) going 23rd in the first round.
