No. 10 -- Langham Creek Lobos
It was a banner year for Langham Creek in 2023 (34-10; 13-1 in district) as they marched all the way to the Regional Finals.
Michele Biffle returns five starters and four key bench players from that team, making this a Lobos team to be considered.
St. Edwards University-commit Sofia Aponte (.237, 14 RBIs) and University of St. Thomas-commit Ana Zozaya (.215, 18 RBIs) are back for the Lobos, after earning second-team and first-team all-district honors, respectively.
Other names to remember include Lindsay Durham (.417, 25 RBIs, First-Team), McKenna Simmons (.287, 21 RBIs), Izzy Amato-Ramirez and Karli Callburg.
According to Biffle, the Lobos will have a dominant pitching duo to rely on, while everyone else becomes multi-position players. New faces in the dugout could also provide a spark.
