There's no doubt when it comes to Trinity Christian Academy - Addison golf and their ability to be successful at the links. The team has a rich history of not only producing great golfers like PGA talent Will Zalatoris, but they also shine bright each and every season when it comes time to compete in state title tournaments. Putting in the tough work during practice and tournament play, the Trojans secured the program's 20th state title at the TAPPS 6A Golf State Championship Tournament.
Continuing to add to the legacy, the Trinity Christian Academy - Addison Trojans were tactful and focused all season long. Participating in tournaments around the state, the Trojans continued to sharpen their skills against their opponents. It wasn't long until TCA found themselves state-eligible yet again- with a chance to defend their title and secure a third consecutive number one finish.
At the state tournament, the boys' golf team defeated their opponents by 48 swings for a combined 570 finishing score. Led by Nate Miller (135, 9-under par), the Trojans secured their third title in a row. Six of the athletes on the boys' golf team also went on to be awarded medalist honors for the tournament.
As the legacy continues, fans can certainly be proud of this strong program that continues to do whatever it takes to bring home golf. Hard work and dedication have proven to pay off at TCA!
