Ready to roll into a strong season, the Prosper Rock Hill Blue Hawks football is fired up! Recently, VYPE DFW paid a visit to the Rock Hill facilities for a Blue Hawks football hype video! The athletes showcased their skills for the camera as they prepared for the season ahead!
REWIND
The team has had a couple of roller coaster seasons after debuting in the 2020-21 season. Last year specifically, the Blue Hawks posted a 3-7 overall record; going 2-5 in district play. Despite their losses, Rock Hill was able to record strong victories over Fort Worth Timber Creek (42-17), Denton Braswlel (50-49), and Little Elm (21-0) during the season.
Taking away plenty of knowledge from key moments against tough teams like school-district rival Prosper, the Blue Hawks went into the offseason ready to work hard for their 2023-24 campaign.
LOOKING AHEAD
Victor Chionuma, Amar Williams, Chris Nguri, Dylan Rhone, Nick Butler, Jonah Bowman, and Ezekiel Akin-Abiodun are just some of the athletes fans should keep their eyes on this fall. With a strong roster ready to get the job done, Rock Hill can be expected to build off of everything they have learned over the last four seasons and post a strong, convincing 2023-24 record.
Opening their schedule on Friday, August 25th on the road against Justin Northwest, Rock Hill is going to do whatever it takes to start the season off on a positive note. Leaving no stone unturned, the Blue Hawks can be expected to fight as soon as they step onto the field. Through district play, the team will face-off against Denton Braswell, Prosper, Allen, Denton Guyer, McKinney, and more as they look to make a playoff bid.
