Every team has a couple of rebuilding seasons as they grow, change, and prepare for something great on the horizons. Although the V.R. Eaton Lady Eagles basketball team has spent the last couple of seasons working hard, they have fallen short of the playoffs each year. This season, the Lady Eagles are changing their paths and focusing their efforts into a team that works hard and fights for what they want: big time wins. VYPE DFW takes a dive into their season so far and what fans can expect:
After finishing last season in the seventh-place spot in their district, the Lady Eagles are looking to post a stronger season this year. With plenty of time in the offseason to regroup, find a new balance, and work towards starting the new season strong, the Lady Eagles are turning this season into one that they want to see. Despite opening the season with a handful of losses, the Lady Eagles turned it around and even won the Granbury tournament:

Opening district play saw some rough games for the Lady Eagles as Fossil Ridge, Byron Nelson, and Keller dealt the team three-straight losses, but if there is anything we have seen from this group of Lady Eagles it's that they are resilient and learn from the times they get knocked down. Expect to see the Eaton Lady Eagles rise to the challenge of the rest of their district schedule where they will face the likes of Haltom, Keller Central, Southlake Carroll and more in a battle for a playoff appearance.
