Familiar Faces: Former DFW, now Tulane stars return to Dallas Thursday night against SMU
As Tulane prepares to face off against an undefeated SMU on Thursday night, fans might recognize some familiar faces making their return to the DFW-area on Tulane's side of the ball. Texas high school stars return to Dallas as the Green Wave attempts to splash out the Mustangs fire on Thursday. Who will you recognize?

Larry Brooks - Safety - Kennedale
Brooks was rated a three-star prospect coming out of high school where he earned Texas UIL Class 4A Honorable Mention All-State honors as a four-year letterman. During his junior year, Brooks earned 5-4A All-District first-team honors. His senior season saw 146 tackles, 13 tackles for a loss, three pass breakups, three interceptions, two sacks, one forced fumble, three fumble recoveries, and a blocked field goal. Brooks was a force on the field for Kennedale, but also lettered in track and field for the Wildcats.
So far with Tulane, Brooks has put up quite the numbers. Brooks has played in a total of 40 games where he has recorded 97 tackles (75 solo, 22 assists), two tackles for a loss, seven interceptions, and 16 passes defended.
