19. Summer Creek Bulldogs (6A)
Summer Creek heads into 2026 looking to build on a 21-10 campaign that saw the Bulldogs finish third in District 23-6A and sweep Deer Park to open the playoffs before falling in the Area Round. Head coach DJ Wilson now turns his attention towards optimizing a group that has been seasoned by postseason experience.
Senior RHP Trevyn Turner (Texas State commit) helps lead the charge, bringing a diverse assortment of pitches and ready to take on a larger role this spring. Junior Caleb Alexander, a first-team all-district selection, went 6-3 with a 2.62 ERA while hitting over .250.
Second-team outfielder Bryce Hudson (.364 BA, 13 RBIs) and honorable mention catcher Aiden Salinas (.300 BA, 16 RBIs) provide additional firepower, while Myles Lewis (Sr. 1B) and David Doran (Jr. OF) further bolster a veteran-laden SCHS lineup.

Cy-Fair Baseball - catch it
20. Cy-Fair Bobcats (6A)
Cy-Fair went 19-15 overall a year ago and reached the Area Round. Billy Hardin enters his 12th season of leading the Bobcats (192 wins at Cy-Fair; 216 wins overall) and returns six starters to the mix including Rice University-commit RHP/3B Isaac Robles, who was the 2024 District MVP. Robles was first-team, all-district in 2025.
Other key returners include Panola JC-commit LHP/1B Wade Sebek (second-team, all-district), and Ottawa JC-commit Cy Garcia. Other key returners include RHP/OF Jordan Schoenvogel (first-team, all-district), Brayden McDaniel, Brooks McGill, Finn Venker, Gage Booher and Cole Cotton.
Hardin believes they will be “very solid” on the mound and on defense but will need to improve offensively from last year. The Bobcats’ motto this year will be “What’s Next?” which is fitting going into a new year.
