It was a big week for Cypress Creek wrestler Amanda McAleavey.
The defending 6A 110-pound State Champion came back from the Big 12 Invitational with a medal, finishing first in the 119-pound division this past weekend.
After a big win over the weekend, McAleavey was honored for her win at the UIL State Wrestling meet last year as well. State Representative Sam Harrelson recognized her for the accomplishment with an honor from the State of Texas.
