We're inside of 50 days before the start of the 2019 high school football season. Last year led to some pretty exhilarating moments and wonderful, underdog storylines.
And just like the professional and college ranks, success - and failure - breeds the constant revolving door for Texas high school head coaches.
So we're going to look at who's new at which school per classification.
The 6A classification is littered with top tier teams in the Metroplex. From Allen and Duncanville to Southlake Carroll and Cedar Hill, the competition just to win district titles is fierce.
Through the offseason, eight schools in 6A have made head coaching changes, whether through retirements or resignations.

2018 Record: 0-10
Old Coach: Mike Nucci
New Coach: Lance Bruner
Lance Bruner comes from Cedar Hill, formerly as the wide receivers coach, replacing Mike Nucci, who stepped down after three seasons and taking the Jaguars to the playoffs in his first two seasons.
