REWIND
Last season, the Knights posted an incredible start to the season with a 41-0 victory over Lewisville's Founder's Classical Academy. Continuing on their hot streak, the team defeated the rest of their non-district opponents including Covenant Christian (37-12), Greenhill (62-0), Dallas First Baptist (52-18), and Willow Park Trinity Christian (55-12) before opening their regular season play.
Despite a regular season-opening loss to TAPPS state champion Dallas Christian School, the team refocused their energy to finish the season without another loss. Defeating the likes of Brook Hill (28-14), McKinney Christian Academy (48-7), and The Shelton School (42-0), the Knights headed into playoffs. Falling to Arlington Grace Prep (34-24) early on, there was never a moment that the team didn't give it their all in the 2022-23 season.
LOOKING AHEAD
This season the Knights are already off to a great start with their dedication to summer workouts. Using plenty of opportunities to strengthen their team bond, team chemistry, and overall game IQ, the Knights are headed into what could be a dominant season. Athletes like Ryder McFarlane, Bennett Sands, Benjamin Golik, Everett Webb, James Predtechenskis, Miles Lodewick, Dobson Beaird, Paul Rotenberry, and more can be expected to lead the Knights to many victories this fall.
Opening their schedule on Friday, August 25th against Founder's Classical Academy, the Knights are expected to start strong with this upper-classman-heavy squad. As they look toward a preseason schedule that is sure to sharpen their grit, The Covenant School will look to head into regular season play on a high as they open district on the road against Dallas Christian School on October 6th.
