The 2019 Texas high school football season has completed eight weeks of action. Westlake, Round Rock and Cedar Park Vista Ridge impressed in Week 8, so they left a mark on this week's VYPE Austin UIL 6A rankings. The Chaparrals slowed down a ranked Del Valle squad 69-31, the Dragons ended Round Rock Stony Point's perfect season with a 34-31 overtime victory and the Rangers beat a talented Round Rock Cedar Ridge team 49-42.
