The wide receiver position in the Greater Houston-Area is loaded for the Class of 2025, and Tomball Memorial’s Ashton Ansley looks to be another name to add to the recruiting database.
At 6-foot-5, the 2025 receiver looks the part. Pair that with his solid junior season with 689 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns, college coaches have come knocking on the door showing interest and offering Ansley.
Ansley picked up offers from Arkansas State, Florida, Louisiana Tech, Ole Miss, South Carolina and UTEP.
“First off, I just want to thank my family, my uncle and my trainers,” he said. “This wouldn’t be possible without them. Getting those first few offers is really opening up doors for me and it’s a blessing.”
Ansley was at the Texas Junior day on the 20th and had high praise for Coach Steve Sarkisian and company.
“I like Texas,” Ansley said. “They have everything I need right there in that facility and I don’t have to go anywhere to get that. The coaching staff was great. Hopefully, I can make another trip there.”
The junior wide receiver followed up his Texas junior day visit with visiting Texas A&M and TCU this weekend to check out those programs.
Ashton Ansley is a sleeper in the 2025 class as of now, but don’t be shocked to see him rise up the ranks this Spring.
