BIG BALLERS: The highest paid coaches in Houston
It's always interesting to see who are the highest paid high school football coaches in the city of Houston.
The Houston Chronicle published the list of Top Paid Coaches in the City of Houston and the list might surprise you.
No. 1 is Barbers Hill's Tom Westerberg, who built a legacy at Allen High School. He gets paid $154,743 and has the only indoor facility in the Greater Houston Area.
Katy's Gary Joseph comes in at No. 2 with $138,588, followed by Dickinson's John Snelson $138,184. North Shore's Jon Kay comes in at No. 14 at $122,218. He has two state titles.
Westerberg and Joseph both have four state titles.
Katy Tompkins' Todd McVey is No. 4 at $131,247 and CE King's Derek Fitzhenry comes in at $130,050.
