PREVIEW: Wall and Peaster set for head-to-head battle

Wall is set to host Peaster in the team's final non-district matchup of the season. As these two teams gear up for a head-to-head battle, VYPE DFW takes a look at what fans can expect heading into this matchup:

Peaster Greyhounds (1-2)

The Peaster Greyhounds aren't having an ideal start to their season. Posting only one victory so far this season-- a 38-7 win over Fort Worth Castleberry-- the team is looking to improve on their schedule. Last week, the Greyhounds hosted Jacksboro and lost 42-19. This week, they travel to wall in hopes of adding another win to their record before district play.

Kentin Morrow, Kaden Albert, Murt Stewart, Cole Kopnhefer, Rye Thompson, Derek Zubiate, and others make up this focused Peaster squad as they gear up to take down the Hawks on Friday.

Wall Hawks (2-1)

Wall is 2-1 on the season so far. With weeks 1 and 2 victories over Eastland (35-10) and Cisco (27-10), the team started the season off with big plays and huge momentum. In a week 3 battle, the Hawks traveled to Tuscola where they faced off against Jim Ned. With great effort and a never quit attitude, Wall fell 17-14 in overtime against this tough squad. This week, they look to bounce back as they host Peaster.

William Scherr, Nathan Pepper, Ryan Allen, Logan Thomas, Matthew Steen, Landon Beeles, Brady Stone, Briggs Jones, and others make up this fast-paced and hard-to-beat team. Ready to take down Peaster, Wall is geared up for anything.

What To Expect

Last season, Peaster lost to Wall with a 29-9 score. This season, the Greyhounds are looking for a little revenge on the road. Determined to improve on their record, fans can expect to see Peaster come out ready for an all-out battle in Wall on Friday night. Wall, however, is tried and true when it comes to bouncing back. Fired up after a week three loss, the team will be hard to shut down.

Kick-off is slated for 7:30 p.m. in Wall.
