...

VYPE: How long have you been playing soccer and how did you get your start?

Almajidi: I started playing soccer at a young age around 6 so I’d have been playing around 11 years. Soccer was always in the family for me. My uncles and cousins were heavily into soccer so it was only a matter of time until I had consumed it.

VYPE: Who’s your favorite athlete and why?

Almajidi: My favorite pro athlete would have to be Neymar his playing style is so composed yet so explosive and he can always keep a cool when provoked.

VYPE: What’s your pre-game meal? Routine?

Almajidi: My go to pregame meal was always some Chick-Fil-A with my teammates it was never too heavy for me . Before games me and my friend used to finish school, eat , roll out any sore muscles and just listen to some music to set the mood.

VYPE: Off the field, what is your favorite thing to do?

Almajidi: Off the field I like to spend time with friends and family. Family is very important to me so making sure I get time with them when I’m not on the field or schooling is big.

VYPE: Favorite subject in school?

Almajidi: My favorite subject in school was always English it was never a struggle for me and the easiest too.

VYPE: What is the one memory from the game you'll never forget playing soccer?

Almajidi: My greatest high school memory would have to be being crowned district champs at home against our school rivals . Going into the season the team had a lot of setbacks , it felt like we had a chip on our shoulder going into this one as we failed to come out top 2 in our district the previous year so winning that game to solidify the district championship was huge for us all.
