CENTER STAGE: Inside look at SETX football media days presented by Whataburger

VYPE took its show on the road and embarked on Ford Park for its 2019 Southeast Texas Football Media Day presented by Whataburger.

The champs were there. The Newton Eagles won the Class 3A state title and the champs were in the building. West Brook was flexing as the Class 5A DII state finalists.

How about the top college studs? The Big Man on Campus was PN-G OL Jaylen Garth, who is committed to Texas. TCU-commit James Sylvester looked the part as a major DI DE.

West Brook athlete Thaddeus Johnson was flashing some serious swag. His flash matches his game. Johnson was joined by Jay Bell, another SETX star defensive lineman, among others.

Southeast Texas has always been home to some of the top state contenders and has produced dozens of NFL stars.
