VYPE U Behind the Lens: George Ranch Sweeps the 20-6A District Titles

The 20-6A District Track and Field Meet was taken over by George Ranch athletes. Here is a look at the District 20-6A Champions in action.

Alexis-Tilford Rutherford (12) continues to set new triple jump and long jump records on the GRHS board. Tilford-Rutherford won both district titles for TJ and LJ. For TJ she jumped 40-00.5 feet and for LJ she jumped 20-02.5 feet.

Kalen Goodman (9) competing in the girl's triple jump. Goodman advanced to the Area meet with a final jump of 43-09.25.

Ava Curtis (10) snuck past her competitor from Austin to win the district title for the girl's 800-meter race. Curtis had a final time of 2:20.31.

Jacob Curtis (12) and Cameron Chretien (12) at the start of the boy's 800-meter race. Both Curtis and Chretien placed top four to move on to the Area meet.

Shane Gardner (11) won the district title in the boy's 110-meter hurdles with a final time of 14.82.
