Flower Mound's Coram Deo Academy Girls Swim team sweeps the TAPPS-DIII State competition
On the girls' side, Flower Mound's Coram Deo Academy (CDA) emerged as dominant champions, finishing with a 264-point total. CDA's success was largely driven by their relay teams, which set new state records in the 200-yard Medley and 200-yard Freestyle events.
In addition, individual standouts Eloise Williamson and Ava Pape set several new records, with Williamson earning the prestigious Bruce Rollins Swimmer of the Meet award for the second consecutive year.
In the boys' Division III competition, Austin's Veritas Academy claimed the state title with a commanding 293 points—85.6 points ahead of second-place CC Incarnate Word Academy.
Tuesday's Division II championships saw strong performances from Houston-area programs.
Logos Prep Academy captured the girls' title with 285 points, edging out Legacy Prep Christian Academy (262) and Bay Area Christian School (204). On the boys' side, Frassati Catholic clinched first place, with their relay teams proving decisive.
The standout individual performance came from Logos Prep's Gideon Swan, who was named Swimmer of the Meet after setting a new state record in the 500-yard Freestyle event.
The final day of competition, Wednesday, featured the Division I championships. Bishop Lynch’s girls’ team triumphed with 309 points, outpacing Ursuline Academy (264) and St. Dominic Savio (240). The Village School's Lauren Cochran earned Swimmer of the Meet honors, securing gold in multiple events.
In the boys' Division I competition, El Paso's Cathedral High School dominated with 321 points, showcasing their depth across the board. John Paul II's Trevor Novak earned the Bruce Rollins Award for his outstanding performance.
The TAPPS State Swim Championships once again highlighted the talent and determination of Texas' top private school swimmers.
