DeSoto Lady Eagles defended their state title on Saturday as they went head-to-head with South Grand Prairie in the UIL Girls Basketball Class 6A State Championship Game. With tremendous talent on the court, the DeSoto Lady Eagles secured their second-straight state title in a 40-23 victory. VYPE was there to catch the action!
It was a storybook finish for the DeSoto team that overcame plenty of trials throughout recent seasons. With resiliency, respect for their opponents, and a true heart for the game- DeSoto has helped seal part of their legacy... it's not over yet!
