Heim: I was Special Teams and Defensive Analyst at The University of Colorado. I was only there for one season before heading back to Texas. It was a great experience.
VYPE: What are your goals for the summer as you lead up to the season?
Heim: Adjust to the new role as head coach. You are never ready, but I've been getting ready for a long time. For the team: get stronger, faster and smarter using our 24 summer opportunities.
VYPE: What are your goals for district play?
Heim: Finish in the Top 4 and get to Gold Ball Season!
VYPE: What one piece of advice has someone given you that you have implemented into your every day coaching life?
Heim: People do what they want to do. If it's not something they want to do you have to find a way to make them want to do it.
VYPE: What are you most looking forward to this season?
Heim: Watching our team play together. They love and care for each other.
With Heim at the reigns of this strong, experience Wildcats team, there's no doubt that the team is prepared to go far again this season. Check out the team as they show the state what Wildcat football is all about this fall!
