After running roughshod over Duncanville, Desoto and Southlake Carroll during their non district part of their schedule, Allen didn’t skip a beat in their district opener. Despite a valiant effort by Prosper Thursday night at Prosper ISD Children's Health Stadium, Allen was able to score 28 consecutive second half points to cruise to a 51-21 victory.

The Eagles have now scored 50 points or more in three consecutive games and have won every game this season by 19 or points. More importantly, Allen starts district 6-6A play (1-0) and already have blowout victory on the record over the district consensus pick to finish district play runner up.
