Julian Uwadia's impressive regular season has carried over into the playoffs and Cypress Creek is benefiting from it.
The Cougars advanced to the Regional Semifinals for a second-straight year for the first time in program history with a 35-14 victory over Mayde Creek last Thursday.
A big key to Cy Creek's eventual 501 yards of total offense was quarterback Julian Uwadia being nearly perfect in the pocket. The senior finished 20 of 29 for 333 yards and four touchdowns.
In his two playoff games so far, Uwadia has passed for 634 yards and 8 touchdowns in just two games with no interceptions. For the season, Uwadia has thrown for 2,862 yards and 35 touchdowns.
The Cougars will get the winner of West Brook vs Strake Jesuit on Friday, November 23 inside NRG Stadium with kickoff slated for 8 p.m.
