San Antonio Area Teams Qualify For Texas State 7on7 DII & DIII Tournaments

Texas State 7on7 has filled its 2019 Division II and Division III tournament slots. Check out the San Antonio area qualifiers, as well as their past trips to the summer event. This year's games will be played on Thursday June 27th and Friday June 28th at College Station's Veterans Park & Athletic Complex.

Division II

Marion Bulldogs

Texas State 7on7 appearance: 10th

Texas State 7on7 berths: Division I (2000 and 2001) and Division II (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2018 and 2019)

Best finish to date: Semifinal Finish (39-33 Division I semifinal loss against Abilene Cooper in 2000)

Wimberley Texans

Texas State 7on7 appearance: 9th

Texas State 7on7 berths: Division II (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019)

Best finish to date: Second Round Finish (41-32 Division II second round loss against Brownwood in 2010, 33-27 Division II second round loss against Lorena in 2011 and 32-20 Division II second round loss against Kaufman in 2017)

Boerne Greyhounds
