Finishing second in their district standings, the McKinney North Lady Bulldogs soccer team entered playoffs ready to shut down anyone who stands in their way. As the team continues strong, VYPE DFW takes a look at their season:
At the start of the regular season, McKinney North took on several talented non-district opponents. In doing so, the team was able to take down the likes of Carrollton Newman Smith (4-0), Trimble Tech (8-0), Royse City (2-0), and more en route to district play. Sharpening their ability to remain focused on the field, the team was able to hone in on their talents and learn to stay resilient.
Led by talented athletes like Mary Kessler, Danica Anaya, Katarina Soto, Katelin Kenealey, and others, the team entered district play with a fire lit. Powering over opponents like Melissa (4-0), Sherman (5-0), Denison (7-0), and others while securing a 9-1-2 district record (12-5-2 overall before playoffs).
Entering playoffs with a resounding 4-1 victory over Corsicana, the Lady Bulldogs have proved that not only do they have fight, they have the ability to focus moment-to-moment and go after the things that they want. Ready to make big waves in the playoffs, fans can expect this squad to fight hard and secure more strong victories as they play for a chance to make a state tournament appearance.

With a knack for starting each game fast-paced, the Lucas Lovejoy Lady Leopards are embarking on a journey to enter the playoffs on a high note. As the team prepares to play Terrell, VYPE DFW takes a look at what fans can expect.
Throughout the regular season, the Lady Leopards were able to secure several strong victories. Beginning in non-district play, the team set the tone for the rest of the season by posting big victories over the likes of Denton Ryan (8-0), Montwood (6-0), Forney (1-0), The Colony (3-0), and more. Always ready for the next opponent, the team entered district play ready to roll.
Led by the likes of Natalie Lenard, Natalie Knight, Katie Manders, Hannah Daehnert, Gracyn Thompson, Kiera Watson, and more, the team never hesitated when facing down their tough district opponents. Defeating tough teams like Melissa (6-0), Greenville (9-0), Denison (9-0), Sherman (6-0), and others, Lovejoy ended regular season play with a 11-0-1 district record (18-1-4 overall) at the top of their district standings.
Knowing that the playoffs are no easy feat, the team has remained prepared for anything. Looking to face down Terrell in their first playoff game of the season, the Lady Leopards can be expected to make a big splash into post season play. Fans can expect this fast-paced team to enter playoffs as strong as they entered the season- never hesitating or looking back.

With an incredible regular season behind them, the Southlake Carroll Lady Dragons are fighting to earn their spot at the state tournament again. Before the team can get there, though, they have to take down their playoff opponents-- beginning with Crowley. VYPE DFW takes a look at the team's season so far and what fans can expect:
With back-to-back shut-out victories over Cleburne (10-0) and Aledo (6-0) followed by other non-district blowouts like those over Burleson (10-1) and Weiss (14-0), there was no doubt headed into district play that this team had a special season waiting around the corner for them. Without any hesitation, the team dominated through their non-district schedule before jumping into district play ready to make an even bigger splash.
Facing down tough district opponents, the Lady Dragons took down the likes of Keller Timber Creek (3-1), Keller (4-1), V.R. Eaton (7-0), Byron Nelson (6-1, 10-1), Keller Central (3-1), and more with resounding determination and power. With the ability to finish strong in each game, the team has outscored their opponents by a combined 141-14 so far this season. Finishing at the top of their district standings, the Lady Dragons boasted an unblemished 21-0-1 overall record (11-0-1 in district play) with a 98% win streak as they head into the playoffs.
Hosting their first playoff game of the season, the Lady Dragons are poised and ready to shake things up as they face Crowley. With the ability to dominate the field against any opponent, fans can expect this fast-paced team to set the tone early in the match. Giving it their all, with a fire in their hearts that has yet to be snuffed this season, the Lady Dragons have everything it takes to end the night on top. Ready to roll, Southlake Carroll is looking to continue strong into playoffs.
