No. 16 — WILLIS WILDKATS
What a season it was for the Willis Wildkats in 2025, as the program made school history by advancing three rounds deep in the postseason after finishing third in district play.
This year, coach Wayne Ware welcomes back Milwaukee-commit SJ Young, who averaged 19 points and 10 rebounds last season and serves as the engine that makes the Wildkats go.
Alongside him is Rondell Lewis, a 6-foot-7 post who contributed 10 points and seven boards per game in 2025. Senior Jax Yarborough will need to step into a larger role, while Ware patiently waits for football standouts Jaivion Martin (UH-commit) and A’Majai Friend (DB) to return to the hardwood.
With Young captaining the ship, and a mix of returning talent and multi-sport athletes, Willis is set to remain a district powerhouse and a team to watch in the postseason once again.

Mr. College Park, coach Clifton McNeely, went out on top.
The only head coach in College Park High School history, McNeely led the Cavs to the State Final Four before retiring — leaving a legacy few programs could match.
But the cupboard is far from bare.
Kenneth Stephens takes over the reins, charged with maintaining the standard set by a legend. Returning to the huddle are seniors Robert Matthews and Mauricio Martinez, while juniors Tyson Forrest and Jayden Heidleberger are poised to take on expanded roles in 2025–26.
Sophomore Quintuyn Buckmon, following in the footsteps of his brothers, continues the family tradition of leadership in the Cavs’ program.
Yes, there are new faces this season, but the message is clear: at College Park, the bar remains the same — and Stephens is ready to keep it there.
